light frame steel lofts fabric to the sky
to protect against heat from the desert sun
a permeable skin allows the space to breath
exhale the heat, inhale the sky
to create shade, and cast a scene of shadows
the fabric retracts
to open to the winter sky and catch it's warmth
leaving a trace of rust upon the ground
